About
Does anyone else hate writing about pages as much as I do? Never quite sure what I should say on one of these things, but here it goes:
As the url suggests, my name is Brandon Bodnar. I am an incoming law student at Cornell Law School ready to finally embark on my desired career after a long and twisted road. Perviously, I was a computer science student at Iowa State University, and while there had the opportunity to work for a variety of companies, local, national, and international. Before that I served in the U.S. Air Force as an Arabic Cryptolinguist, where I worked with many wonderful and dedicated individuals, and learned and experienced most of the things that have pointed me in my current direction.
My main areas of interest are in technology and cyber law, in particular those that revolve around privacy rights in the online / digital world. Ultimately, I hope to work in securing these rights with a non profit group dedicated to providing digital access and freedoms to all people.
Currently the main focus of this site will be on the issues of interest to me: technology, law, and privacy. Additionally, once school starts, I hope to use part of this site as my own little law school memoir. I found the books One L and Ivy Briefs to provide a great insider view to law school, and wanted to at least attempt to do a little of the same for future students (I will never pretend to be as good a writer as the authors of those two books, but I hope to provide at least some insight.) Lastly, this website as serves as the main contact for information on my software applications.
If you have any feedback on the stories posted here or on any software I have written, please comment or contact me.
